On 3090 we’ve confirmed TdrLevel is now in the registry. There were issues when setting it to zero, mainly with DLSS not displaying and some reports warning it could be risky. I’ve experienced BSODs and traced the cause to GPU drivers. The UnsupportedMonitorModesAllow setting is already enabled at 1.

You're asking about the purpose behind altering that specific setting. It seems unclear if you're looking to fix a problem or understand its function better. Microsoft recommends this for driver developers, so checking their documentation might help clarify your goal.

I checked for testing items but found none to act on. The warning about unsupported monitor modes appears to be gone. It’s unclear if it was present before or with my GTX 1660ti, and now it seems to be handled differently with the 3090. The registry entry status isn’t clear either.
