This configuration had been stable for about three years. Recently, I upgraded my RAM from 8 to 16GB while trying to stream and experience frame drops in a game. Although my setup isn’t top-notch, I’m only playing League of Legends at normal settings. Occasionally, I still face blue screens when switching between tasks yesterday—four times in total. The changes I made to the BIOS profile didn’t help prevent the issue.

No, I didn't purchase the RAM separately.

I purchased the two sticks together in a bundle, not as separate units. I’m not sure if the RAM was overclocked. The BIOS default was set to 2133, so I adjusted it to 3000mhz. According to what I understand, the RAM is designed for that frequency. Sorry for my limited understanding.

The memory is calibrated for that, but the CPU isn't. It's only rated at 2933mhz. The board supports up to 2667mhz, and anything above that would require modification. You likely won't be able to run at 3000mhz with this configuration.

It depends on your needs. Keeping the RAM you bought works if it fits and meets your requirements. If you want better performance or stability, consider returning it for a higher-quality replacement.

I have the Red edition of this memory. It performs well across various systems, both budget and high-end.
