Updated power supply replaced, yet no screen appears.
Hey, your new power supply is working and everything looks good on the PC. The monitors are showing up as expected. Just double-check that all cables are securely connected and the GPU is properly seated. If the issue persists, ensure the display settings are correct and try restarting the system. Let me know if you need further help!
The search results indicate "D0" is acceptable while "00" isn't. The issue seems linked to CPU placement during the PSU swap. Ensure the CPU's power connectors are fully secured on both the motherboard and the PSU ends. Use the original cables from the new PSU instead of reusing old ones.
I haven’t interacted with the CPU. I removed all previous cables from the old PSU and connected them to the new PSU and its included cable. Would you like a photo of the leads to confirm they’re properly positioned?
Most probably the CPU socket problem is causing the issue. If power delivery works, the CPU might stay cold and the postcode could be blank (though I’m not sure about newer boards). The code 00 usually means the chip is dead. Is this a fresh build? If not, did it function properly with an older PSU?
this is an old build, but recently replaced PSU due to it dying, but everything seemed to work, just no display when turning on, but it worked perfectly for almost 2 years till 2 days ago, but it was the PSU
Before the PSU change, it functioned well; now with the updated PSU, some components are malfunctioning. Inspect all connections on both the PSU and motherboard to confirm they’re securely fastened.
Everything functioned smoothly until two days prior when my old power supply failed, prompting me to install the new MSI A1000G.
Check connections, if theyre fine then rma the psu as its problably dead, if the rmaed psu is also dead then rma the board as it likely got killed alongside your old psu
It seems the board is turning on, with the motherboard lights, cooler illumination, and fans spinning continuously, including the GPU. What are your thoughts?
You're concerned about ASUS support, as they're often criticized. Have you considered other brands like Lenovo, HP, or Dell for better reliability?
