It's a Docsis 3.0 8x4 gateway with a built-in modem and router. You're either looking for another gateway—probably not worth considering—or purchasing a separate modem and router. For the modem side, aim for at least a Docsis 3.0 16x4 or 24x8 model, as this affects the available channels and speeds. While your current 8x4 setup is functional, some cable companies may begin removing it from their networks. If you buy your own gear, you'll need to align it with your ISP's upgrade plan.
