A 3060 lacks a dedicated audio connection for over ten years. Newer cards with HDMI deliver sound via the PCIe port. Which audio input is linked to your speakers on the motherboard? Possibilities include optical, a 3.5 mm jack (likely green), or USB. In Windows, which output appears and functions? Are any devices visible that can drive the speakers? Does the board include audio driver info, and if so, does it reference these connections? Can relocating the speakers to another port, such as the front panel for 3.5 mm, restore functionality?

I located a solution in the Realtek audio console's advanced settings. Check the box for "Make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams."
