I recently purchased a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and paired it with a Mai Mag B650M motherboard along with two 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM sticks at 6000MHz. Everything seems installed, but I’m struggling to get it to boot. I’ve re-seated everything and tried using only one RAM stick per slot, yet nothing works. I replaced the CMOS battery, but I’m still unsure what’s causing the problem. The debug LEDs on both the CPU and DRAM are active—CPU red, DRAM yellow—but I can’t pinpoint the exact issue. If you have any advice, please let me know. I think it might be related to the PSU, as I got it from a CyberPower prebuilt unit and already know its specifications. If I can manage with this for now, I’d appreciate it.
You mentioned changes to your system like CPU, motherboard, and RAM. Did you replace a ready-made unit or build one yourself? Which graphics card is connected? Also, it’s not wise to use an undersized power supply without knowing its wattage before connecting it.
You may need to reposition the CPU, as I've encountered this problem before. It's also conceivable you just received a faulty CPU or motherboard immediately.
