Updated motherboard, power supply, and now my gaming experience is affected.
I recently replaced my motherboard and power supply. I updated the BIOS and GPU drivers. Games that previously ran smoothly are now stuttering under the same settings. I upgraded the PSU because I assumed it lacked sufficient wattage.

I bought a prebuilt unit in November and gradually added improvements. Last week I switched cases and motherboards, moving from an ASRock B660M to an MSI MAG 790DDR4 WiFi. I installed a Nvidia GeForce 4070 Ti, four Corsair Vengeance 16GB 3200 RAM sticks, a 850-watt gold PSU, and an Intel i5-12600K. There were no problems until the motherboard and case upgrade. To fix the stuttering, I updated the BIOS to the latest version. All GPU drivers are current, and I’ve even begun overclocking RAM and CPU to their ratings. The stuttering still persists.

Verify if XMP is activated after switching your motherboard. If you didn’t update it, your XMP settings might have failed. Previously, without changing the board, XMP caused random stuttering; after re-enabling, the issue vanished.
