Hey there, I’m gathering feedback and some tips on my new build. I’m aiming to assemble a PC that truly matches my vision. It will be used for 4K gaming, editing videos for friends, and security testing of big databases plus encryption checks. My budget sits between $5,000 and $7,500. I’ve already got four WD Black 6TB drives, a 500GB WD Black NVMe for boot/OS (probably dual boot Linux and Windows 10), and 32GB Dominator Platinum RGB RAM. I might need more RAM later and could resell the setup if needed. I’m considering either a Threadripper 3 or new Cascade Lake chips. For PCI expansion, I’m eyeing HEDT options to support two extra lanes for a 2TB gaming drive and a 2TB storage drive. I’ll be using NVIDIA graphics. I’m also seeking advice on stability and any issues from past versions of these platforms. Thanks for all your input!
