I'm preparing a fresh PC in two weeks and wondering if any graphics card makers have special offers. I'm hoping to grab the game after it's ready. Black Friday is coming up soon, and I'm checking if others are looking for deals too.

Based on the early options, NVIDIA seems like a strong choice, though AMD could be worth considering once you start assembling your system.

My Nitro 390 runs Fallout 4 with ultra at 60 frames per second. However, similar to Nvidia's 970, it can also work well as a GPU.

The 970 with a Fallout backplate is the main item, though that's all. Here’s the link: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/evga-fallout...Id=4583924. On the positive side, the SSC can reach 1500 MHz. The downside is I can’t afford to buy that backplate on eBay and install it on my card because I already have the EVGA GTX 970 SC.

I'm really into Bethesda games and found this backplate to be quite the disappointment. The design looks bad with noticeable holes in the head area and a very rough finish. However, the graphics card inside is impressive.

Add this to your 970. It seems quite straightforward to paint by yourself, though the backplate designed for your card has numerous large openings that could cause issues.

They didn't target Robco or any Fallout-related items that could easily bypass the loopholes. The fan shroud was a notable exception. A few collectors are trying to recreate its design. I felt envious until I saw it. They might have used a more common cooler instead. I would have purchased one if available.
