Hi everyone, I just completed a major upgrade on several components of my system. Since then, I've noticed low FPS in games like League of Legends even with minimal demand. My current setup includes an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, GTX1080, MSI MAG B550, AM4 RM series, RM750 power supply (750W, 80 PLUS Gold), and a 750W fully modular PSU from VENGEANCE LPX with 16GB RAM. I also transferred two old SSDs and one HD drive from my previous build. I've heard this configuration can cause problems when changing motherboards. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dan.

Driving the drives becomes problematic only if they're very old, otherwise it's mainly about dependability... Installing Windows on an older system often leads to many issues, which is why a clean setup is recommended.

I tried to steer clear of this, but I'll give it a go.

Run a user benchmark to assess each component's performance. Be aware that some parts may lag if they aren't overclocked, but they can be boosted like a CPU.

No, that repair won't apply to this situation.

Did you set up every driver for the latest equipment? How does system performance appear during gameplay?

It also relies on your previous setup...Switching from AMD to AMD is less problematic, while moving from Intel to AMD might involve a bigger impact.

I set up all the drivers for the devices. I plan to start something soon and check how it's using resources.
