I changed my CPU cooler from the Corsair A500 to the H170i Capellix. At first it functioned properly, but after swapping the backplate for the H170i, it stopped working. Now I see a red light on the motherboard indicating a problem. My system specs are: Intel Core i9 11th gen, MSI Z590 gaming plus board, Aorus RTX 360 Elite rev 2, X4 Vengeance 8G memory, Corsair RM750 w, and BarraCuda Q5 SSD 1TB. The issue started after replacing the backplate—fans spin up and GPU lights up, RGB activates except for the GPU, but nothing comes through the display port. I’ve tried reinstalling the backplate and cooler, reseating the GPU and CPU, rewiring wires, replacing some connections, and even using a different PCIe lane during installation. A stand fell on top of the PCIe lane, flipping the case so the screw came loose. There was another sound of smoothing hitting the case. I need advice on what to do next.

Power supply never worked. No overheating occurred. The CPU cooler functioned properly using a new back plate. Thermal paste was already applied. Adhesive on the bracket means I’ll clean the motherboard.

Removed the CPU completely and secured the pins. Everything looks fine. I plan to reassemble it and attempt a boot. If the issue persists, I’ll reset the BIOS since the CMOS might be the cause.
