The MSI website seems overly complicated for me. I’m unsure which BIOS to use—should I choose the beta version or the standard one first? Also, what chipset drivers should I install? Should I put all the files onto a USB stick or just the BIOS itself? Do I need to install the BIOS before the chipset drivers? I really need clear step-by-step instructions. Last time updating was tricky because of Ryzen 3600 support, and I’m already dealing with other issues. I think I downloaded many BIOS and chipset driver files but don’t know where to begin. Please help me understand this better.
The bios file needs to be a ROM file, not a compressed archive. Place the ROM at the root of the USB drive. Turn off your system, then insert the USB into one of the motherboard slots. Power it back on and boot into BIOS. Look for the update option and choose the USB update. Make sure the power stays steady while you wait.
I recalled the previous steps well. There were no other files on the USB drive except the BIOS file. After testing many combinations, only including the extracted folder with both the BIOS and text file worked. The installation order wasn't specified, but I think it's best to install the chipset first if you're unsure.
Latest version includes CPU compatibility. Drivers for chipset can be added post-update.
