I went all-in by inserting the Micro SD card into my PC and started transferring the data right away, skipping the folder organization for each artist.
It wouldn't seem like an extreme solution. If you're interested, you could use Syncthing to match your local music folder on your phone. I don’t have much experience setting up Syncthing on a mobile device. For organizing files, sorting isn’t crucial unless it’s a compilation.
