Update your Bluetooth settings for Windows with the latest version.
I looked up the Bluetooth version in the device manager and saw the firmware number: LMP 12.13444. Is that the correct version? It doesn’t match Bluetooth 5.3, does it?
I reviewed the Device Manager settings to confirm the Bluetooth version. Regarding the device, it appears to be integrated into a motherboard or possibly a USB add-in. The specific type isn’t clear, but it’s not a PCIe or LMP-related component. I found an Intel AX200 chip that supports Bluetooth 5.2, yet there’s no indication of a Bluetooth specification in Device Manager. It seems the information might not be present there.
The information provided aligns with Microsoft's documentation. The version referenced hasn't been updated, and the gap between Bluetooth 5.2 and 5.3 is evident.
I'm just confirming my purchase today. The spec sheet lists 5.2, but I also have an LMP of 12. After checking the Bluetooth specs page, it seems the HCI version is 12.13444, which suggests a 5.3. I think there might be some confusion between the numbers. Updated April 18, 2022 by TheBean after further research.
