Update your bios video settings for the Asus Z270-P model.
Hello, I’m looking for advice on adjusting the video output from the BIOS on an Asus Z270-P. I have two screens—one in portrait and the other in landscape—and the BIOS keeps showing up only on the portrait one, which is frustrating. I want to switch it so the landscape screen gets the video. Both are connected via the 1060 graphics card, with the portrait version using DVI and the landscape using DP.
The GPU sets the display for what it calls the main output, unrelated to how Windows perceives it. You need to manually adjust your wiring connections.
Thanks for the answers, I'll try to see if there is any option to do that on the Nvidia control panel. If not I'll just continue to tilt my head or physically rotate the screen
The possibility of software influencing this situation is nonexistent. The BIOS isn't active during the process.
