I've faced this problem for a while now, struggling to keep my memory stable. It means I need to turn off my XMP profile, or else I'd face random CTD errors with 0xc000005. I've tried updating my BIOS for a while, but gave up after a couple months. I'm really hesitant to change my BIOS settings because I don't want anything to go wrong. My main concern is whether BIOS updates actually solve these issues—like stabilizing memory and letting me use XMP without adjusting the SOC voltage. All my specifications are in my profile, and I'd really appreciate some advice on what to watch for during a BIOS update. Thanks!

I recently upgraded my z390 aorus ultra bios to improve temperatures, as it's known for vcore problems. I believe it worked better. Unless you often experience power outages that could damage the motherboard, I recommend going ahead.

I also had that in mind. I think I'll just go ahead now—it's been weighing on me for a while. Thanks.
