Do you have Bitlocker enabled? If no, then don't worry about it. If yes, then make sure to get the backup key before you update the BIOS.

Have you enabled BitLocker on your setup? You might want to turn it off in Windows first. It usually isn’t practical to keep it active on a desktop unless you need full encryption. Most people don’t do that because of slow performance. On a business laptop I can see they often switch it on based on user preference.

Have you enabled BitLocker on your setup? You might want to turn it off in Windows first. It usually isn’t practical to keep it active on a desktop unless you need full encryption. Most people don’t do that because of slow performance. On a business laptop I can see they often switch it on based on user preference.

In Windows type BitLocker in the search bar and click Manage BitLocker, it will indicate whether it is active, with encryption applied to all drives.
