Sure, I can help with that. Migrating your OS to a 512GB SSD without losing files is possible if you use the right tools. Make sure to back up important data first, then follow the steps for partitioning and transferring your system files. Let me know if you need detailed instructions!

I have a variety of HDD sizes available, and I can tell you how much space is currently occupied. If your usage is under 512GB, we can create a clone of the existing setup onto an SSD.

Your existing storage meets the required size or is less, allowing a straightforward clone. If it exceeds capacity, remove unnecessary files before proceeding. Alternatively, reinstall Windows directly onto the SSD and transfer desired applications.

Typically, cloning programs adjust data partitions in real time if necessary. You only need to remove files when the available space on the new drive exceeds the original’s capacity—this is straightforward. If you had a different intention, feel free to clarify. There are many choices for selecting cloning software: https://www.comparitech.com/net-admin/be...-software/

Macrium Reflect supports resizing partitions during operation, yet it cannot automatically adjust every existing file to fit perfectly on a new drive when the available space is insufficient.

Certainly, I included that in my earlier reply, even though it might seem clear that you can't send more data than the source drive allows.

With a Samsung SSD, they provide a dedicated cloning solution that works exceptionally well.

Suggest cloning in each area separately. AOMEI Partition Assistant works well too.
