Hello,for the ones how doesnt know ,there are a developer team non microsoft related trying hard to build a next gen "halo based" game to pc only, the game is on a early stage but havnt been some updates for a long time the game was thought to be dead.Project contingency stilll alive!!. after a leak on the summer of an image of what looks like to be a carbine and some hud infos people expeculate that it was a halo 5 leak but no it was a project contingency.Now we get filled up with updates of some renders and music ,enjoy ! http://www.project-contingency.net/h8-updates https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAj6pqwbVBM
In my opinion, it seems like a very early imitation. It lacks originality and feels more like a copy. For me, a game-changing project is essential before I would even think about supporting it. Star Citizen stands out as a solid, innovative mMO. The development team is transparent about their efforts, making it clear where your funds are being used. They’re receiving backing from nearly 700,000 people, and they’ve already attracted around $60 million. The trailer they release is just a poor-quality video—sorry for the tone, but I’m being honest.
I get it, but Microsoft has supported PC games in the past. Looking for a community working on a new Halo game for PC is actually quite promising. Using CryEngine can give the game fresh visuals and gameplay, enhancing immersion. They likely need funding, so I wouldn't be surprised by microtransactions, donation buttons, or ads.
If you want to show a game you enjoy, make sure it looks good. The video appears poor, and I wasn’t sure what I was watching. It seems focused on med kits and coils. Turning Halo into an MMO would be extremely challenging for newcomers. Many game developers lack the resources to handle such a project. Star Citizen has significant funding available, so you probably have options to explore. Just don’t ruin your day, but it’s unlikely to happen.
