Hey! You’ve got a gigabit connection but facing some connectivity hiccups. The issue seems to be with your new PC’s compatibility—specifically the i5 7600 and the Prime B250M+ chipset. It works fine with the switch but not directly with the modem, especially when you move it around. Try connecting the PC directly to the switch instead of the modem; that usually resolves the problem. Also, ensure the switch IP is correctly configured if you need to access it remotely. Let me know if you want help checking the switch settings or port configuration!

Unmanaged switches don’t require logging in—they’re plug-and-play devices. The switch must link to your router, which then distributes DHCP information to any connected device. If you’re facing connection problems, check that your network card drivers are current. Try using a different cable to rule out issues with the wall outlet or termination.

It functions as an intelligent controller with a web interface. Offers simple setup features like basic VLAN configurations. Remains classified as an unmanaged device.

Another person faced the same issue, using a KPN modem router in the Netherlands and a TP-link switch. The solution came from restarting both devices, which resolved the problem. It seems the issue might relate to VLAN settings or IPTV services provided by the provider.

Consider the energy-saving Ethernet feature and verify it's disabled. I noticed it doesn't work well on my Netgear devices. I'd also inspect the connections and check the link speed in Windows. It would be strange to trigger such problems, though unreliable wiring can lead to inconsistent performance.
