Looking into changing the top-left content of the wingpanel from Applications to the official Elementary OS logo. Someone else asked a related question on this site that might help, though it doesn't match your current OS version. The link provided is about replacing "Applications" with an icon in Freya.

I've asked the same thing before. Back when we used Freya, I did it, but now after searching online I'm still struggling to find a solution. I really wish someone could assist us.
