Hello I have a legion Y740-17IRH and I need to update the drivers such as BIOS( I have v1.10 and the critical update is to v1.12) and motherboard updates which are critical, one problem though they are all compatible with windows 10 64 bit but I have windows 11 64 bit and it has me wondering if its unsafe to update the drivers as I dont have windows 10. So is it safe to update with windows 11 or will it brick my laptop or something? thanks for the help. Uh im not sure if its relevant or not but ill post my specs just incase core i7 9th gen Nvidia GTX 1660Ti Edited April 12, 2023 by Lowdisk more info

The Bios update is saved within the operating system, yet it gets implemented on the BIOS beyond Windows, making the original download source irrelevant.
