You’re navigating Steam smoothly, but it seems like your internet connection is stable and you’re experiencing some strange behavior. It might be related to the game’s update process or regional settings. Try updating your graphics drivers again, restarting Steam, and confirming your region settings. If the issue persists, consider checking for any known bugs or contacting Steam support.

Changing your GPU drivers can significantly improve Steam's performance. Simply reinstalling Steam should resolve most issues.

Hard drive capacity appears limited or possibly lacking sufficient storage. Be aware that Steam might attempt to install a 10 MB patch on a larger file (1-3 GB), which could involve generating a new 3 GB version, updating its contents with the patch data, and then deleting the previous one. Even minor updates may require more available space than the patch size suggests. Perform an integrity check on the game itself—right-click the title, properties, local files, verify integrity (unlikely). Adjust your Steam country settings and restart the application; you might be prompted to download from a different region with potentially better connectivity. For instance, if you're in Europe, consider switching to the Netherlands, UK, London, Frankfurt, or Paris—each offers data centers and strong ISP connections for quicker downloads. In the US, Chicago, Washington DC, LA, and Seattle (closest geographically) provide ample bandwidth options.

Let it handle its own way for a while; it’s likely to recover. Sometimes things just move forward due to factors beyond your control or the steam’s influence.
