Hey everyone! I'm using a Gigabyte GA990-FX gaming rig (rev 1.0) and rely on the official APP CENTER for BIOS updates and other tools. The issue is that only the LIVE UPDATE feature doesn't connect to my internet, while running BIOS from the desktop works fine. My PC is connected via Ethernet and I don’t see any network issues—my online games run smoothly. I’ve attached a screenshot of the error message shown in the app when I try to open it.

He mentioned it online, which suggests he didn’t resolve the issue. Do you have the chipset drivers? Are the automatic drivers already set up? Did you attempt to install the BIOS directly from the official source instead of using some unfamiliar program?

the software is genuine, it comes from the gigabyte website. although i switched my setup recently, it’s no longer an issue ^^. yes, i updated to bios version F1 initially via the site, then moved to the latest bios from the @BIOS in the gigabyte app center—everything functioned smoothly. only the update tool for everything except bios itself didn’t work.

Hi @y0ur5h4d0w noticed your message while searching for "gigabyte live update no internet". Your issue with the GA-B 85M-D3H motherboard is common—no internet when using the Live Update app. Checking other discussions suggests App Centre isn't reliable, so it might be safer to install drivers or firmware manually.
