Your BIOS doesn’t compare to your data. If you needed to reinstall Windows, it’s likely your CMOS settings were changed before the update—so you probably didn’t have to reinstall, just reset your configurations.

Yes, it should work if you save your settings to a profile and then reload it after the update. In previous instances where I flashed it, I ended up having to reinstall it.
