Update on KB2267602
Hi,
that is an annoying issue that began almost two weeks ago: everyday I have the same update (the one in the subject) that is installed without errors.
I tried some suggestion found by googling but with no results.
Is someone experiencing the same issue?
The OS is Windows 11 PRO with the latest updates, I completely reinstalled the OS a week ago thinking that was due to some error in the OS.
Thank you, regards.
Roberto
I've experienced situations where checking for OS updates through Settings led to a black screen, fortunately I managed to restore the system to an earlier state before the update. Now I leave updates alone and let the OS handle it if needed.
The OS version is Windows 11 PRO with the most recent updates. I recently reinstalled the operating system a week ago, believing it was caused by an error.
Where did you obtain the installation file for the OS?
You may also want to check if your motherboard requires any BIOS updates.
The update identifier is a general code for Defender; although the same number exists, there are various revision versions since it keeps updating Defender.
I didn't realize at first, but each update comes with a unique number. Since I'm using a different antivirus than Defender, I'll turn it off. Thanks for the clarification, regards.
