Update on Bios/ z390
Yesterday I changed my bios from f7 to f9g and had issues with stability during overclocking. I was using 5GHz at 1.315V with LLC high, but the f9g version failed during an Intel burn test. I’m not sure if there’s a tool to check system stability now. I also boosted my RAM to 3600 with 16.19.19.38 at 1.45V on Hynix CJR. I just want to confirm everything is working smoothly.
These tools include AIDA64, Prime95, Cinebench R20, and other benchmarks like Unique Valley and Time Spy. Each workload behaves differently. You'll only understand your system's stability after testing it with the software you plan to use.
Also, just one more point, brother... to refresh my Gigabyte BIOS, I should switch from F5 to F6 until I reach F8 BIOS, or I could update directly from F5 to F8.
Upgrading straightforwardly to F8 would be convenient. If BIOS updates needed step-by-step processing, it would become quite cumbersome.
