Update
Disabled corsair link 4 during startup.
Disabled xfr and unsure about pbo settings.
Reset voltages to 1.36875v, adjusted soc to 1.06v, and reduced ghz to 4.1ghz.

Results
Operated for 9 hours using the OCCT medium data set.
Average high temperature reached 71°C, with 70°C recorded per hwinfo64.
Executed 4 runs of cinnabench r15.
Scores ranged between 1417 and 1421.
Performed 3dmark firestrike tests.

[URL="http://Www.3dmark.com/3dm/39166289"]

Lowered voltage to 1.36250v maintained at 4.1ghz.
After 4 hours, temperature stabilized at 73.1–73.9°C.
Room temperature remained between 84–85°F.
Testing concluded; will cease shortly and proceed with realbench stress test using 8GB RAM.
Running now would be preferable due to room warmth, as temperatures have risen since the last session. Previously, realbench performance peaked around 65–69°C.
If successful, consider running OCCT overnight.

Realbench completed an 8-hour run at 1.35625v. Adjusted to 1.35000v. Progressed through the OCCT medium data set in 1.5 hours. Temperature reached a maximum of 69°C with 70°C per hwinfo64, indicating a low limit was detected. Reduced GHZ to 40.75. Voltage stabilized at 1.35000v. Restarting Occt.

Update
The 4.1ghz model at 1.35625 MHz is performing well right now, without PBO active. If PBO were off, causing P95 to just clear the screen, it might suggest using certain monitoring tools while P95 runs. Currently, Corsair Link 4 isn’t running in the background, PBO is disabled, but P95 has been active for about 8 hours with custom settings (512k, 4096MB, 15min FFTs showing 11264 RAM usage and AVX disabled). The temperature is a maximum of 72.4°C, with room temperature at 84°F or 28.9°C.

Recent 3DMark Firestrike scores ranged from 1417 to 1421, with 4 runs back-to-back. I’m considering renaming this thread:
"Asus Rog Strix x470 f Gaming 5204 Bios Update Adventure"
It would be best to keep the discussion open since there’s no definitive advice that clearly solves a problem linked to a BIOS update that should have been clearly marked as Not Upgradeable.

If you’re not installing a Zen2 CPU, please avoid updating to the 5204 version.

Thank you to DMAN999 for their support during this learning journey.
