Hi everyone, I'm facing a problem updating my latest driver for my Nvidia GPU on the Surface Book 2. The download works fine through GeForce Experience, but after installation it says the update is complete and prompts me to update again. Once I click "check for updates," it confirms I have the newest driver but keeps asking for another install. I've tried downloading from the official site and still get the same message. My laptop has two GPUs—one Intel and one Nvidia—and after updating, it no longer recognizes my GPU, defaulting to the lower one. When I launch Rainbow Six Siege, it runs smoothly on the Intel GPU. Someone, any tips would be really helpful. I've heard about using a Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) for reinstallation, but I'm not sure which method works best. Thanks in advance!

Consider following the suggested steps: run DDU and then reinstall the latest available driver. This should resolve your problem, but we need your feedback. Also, share the precise laptop model for better assistance.

Did you restart after updating the driver? Until then, it was using the older version stored in memory. It’s better to turn it off and on again rather than just restarting, so the new drivers can take effect.

Yup, neither of these worked, I also tried installing it with "custom installation" on the GeForce Experience app and it looks like a already have the latest drive update its just both Nvidia and my computer aren't recognizing them and making my nvidia gpu disappear. Here what it looks like when I do "custom installation". Also these are my specs the ones circled in red.

I checked my computer settings and found a warning about the NVIDIA GPU. When I opened its properties, I saw a status message indicating Windows stopped the device due to issues (code 43). To fix this, you can try restarting your GPU or updating its drivers. If the problem persists, consider checking for hardware updates or consulting the manufacturer's support resources.
