I was using the new card without any reason and updated my BIOS by accident. The Gigabyte Aorus Elite now works perfectly—no more display issues through the card. The system runs smoothly, lights stay on, and fans operate normally. I flashed the BIOS back to the older version with Q-Flash Plus, but it still doesn’t show anything on the GPU. It’s unclear what settings might help if the system is reset to default. No BIOS options like a resizable bar or PCIe configuration seem to block display output.

EDIT: I’ve ordered a 3200G to test without a GPU and motherboard output, which is the tricky part with these Ryzen processors lacking built-in graphics.

Confirm the device was powered off before proceeding. Using q flash could require multiple restarts. Clear the CMOS by powering down the PSU. Disconnect the GPU and discharge its battery for five minutes. If the issue persists, repeat the q-flash process.

It should have been completed. I also ran a quick flash test using just the PSU, and it looked good. I’m looking forward to improving my skills when I work with the 3200G later today.

We've noticed multiple instances of boards experiencing "soft-suicide" after enabling Secure Boot. It appears to disable the current display output device, causing the GPU to stop working until Secure Boot is turned off. Once disabled, it restarts with the previous GPU. Newer BIOS versions often include Secure Boot by default, which may trigger this issue. Integrated video should function normally if this is the problem, so the 3200G should work again. Consider borrowing a GPU or having a friend with one to test.

Great, I'll make sure to verify this once the 3200G is installed.

Not getting much success with the 3200G. I've tried using q flash again plus the BIOS, and it works smoothly—quick flashes, steady flashes, then shutting down after about five minutes. I also booted from just one stick of memory and didn’t see any display from the motherboard. The keyboard lights don’t turn on when plugged in. Connecting the 4-pin speaker didn’t produce a boot beep either. I’m starting to doubt the motherboard, even though the re-flash seems to function properly. @DoctorNick

You're excited about your new motherboard and hope it arrives soon. USB-C would be a welcome addition. This upgrade has been on your mind for some time.

The new motherboard appears to be working well now. It might have been a premature shutdown on the previous board, or something else happened during the update that caused it to stop functioning properly.
