A restart meant to update .net now left a new icon in the tray with weather and other clutter. Hovering over it doesn’t show a clear way to remove it. When you open its settings, the usual configuration is stuck in the browser instead of the one you chose.

You can click the menu bar once, choose news or similar, but disabling it is frustrating—it's helpful sometimes yet feels like breaking rules. It’s unclear if disabling actually works or what it did when enabled. Also, unsure if “disable” truly turns it off or what actions were taken beforehand. Please adjust browser settings and remove the need for a Microsoft account, thank you.

I checked the settings, startup options, and similar sections, but the feature wasn't available.

These are the updated versions for now, pending the final "true Windows experience" release.

I disabled all sources one by one until I discovered the choice to simply conceal them...

Click the taskbar with the right mouse button, then turn off news & interests—this should be under settings, not just a random option. The news feature feels unnecessary since you can access the weather app directly from the start menu.
