Update issues causing low frame rates. Need assistance resolving performance problems.
Hey everyone, I had to upgrade to the 2h22 version and am seeing around 10-30 frames per second in most games. My setup includes the DDU drivers and the latest versions, but it’s frustrating since the games work normally after a reset yet then drop back to low FPS and laggy menus when I restart. The hardware specs are 5950X and RTX 3090. Games: Age of Empires 4, Snowrunner, Warthunder Ready or Not.
Could be a couple of hours and twenty-two minutes of teething problems. It seems like a driver might be getting affected by something that thinks "reset" means the partial reinstallation done when you say "reset this computer" instead of pressing the button. If reset actually means pressing the button, it probably points to a buffer filling up, so just hitting the button would clear it. This isn't ruled out for other reset methods either. Either way, trying to go back 2h22 might be the fastest fix if you can.
They're also valuable observations. I thought they were already addressed. Maybe naive of me.
Your CPU performance is around 70s while the GPU is at 30-40. The chipset hasn’t been installed yet—please update it and verify.
