CDPR issued a substantial 60GB update for Cyberpunk. Several adjustments were made, including rebalancing mods, which makes me want to go back through the game. Will you attempt to play again soon, or are you holding off for more content like DLC or a new game?

Maybe I'll attempt to play it after all.

I've reviewed it multiple times, so I can suggest another attempt with the updated version.

Tried it yesterday just to check the updates. I really appreciate the ability to secure new apartments and modify the original one. The map icons have improved significantly. AI performance has also been enhanced, even though it lags behind most games released over the past decade. The changes are clear and give the world a more dynamic feel. Unnecessary loot items have been reduced, which is a positive step. The expanded romance features consist mainly of text messages where you and your partner appear together but remain fixed in their previous positions, maintaining the same layout. They introduced new perks and removed some that were redundant—though the overall perk system still feels lacking. In-game mods for clothing have been altered, which is confusing. The neon rims on bikes don’t work as intended for me. The driving mechanics haven’t been fully refined; most cars still exhibit excessive under-steering, requiring large turns to enter drift, especially when making minor adjustments. 1.5 continues to have issues with Nahimic, and the game won’t launch unless that service is disabled. This appears to be the most polished update yet, but overall it’s just acceptable. It seems they’re making progress in certain areas, though it’s not enough to make a strong case for revisiting the game.

I completed a 65-hour session at launch and it performed well graphically on the 2080 I owned then, so visual improvements didn’t really impress me. I’d appreciate seeing deeper gameplay additions in another playthrough—things like better balance tweaks and AI updates would help—but I’d also want a substantial expansion or DLC to truly enhance the experience.

The modding setup was quite funny; previously, stats wouldn’t function well or stack correctly, or at all. It seemed to have some issues with crafting and disassembling the ozob, especially when it came to gaining extra crafting benefits and more materials.

I've been considering purchasing it and it's currently 50% off on Steam. Still unsure if it's a good deal. I usually wait for new releases nowadays... I haven't heard much positive about it being fully resolved. What are your thoughts?

I initially found the game enjoyable right out of launch on my high-end PC for 60€. Despite numerous bugs, none of them caused the game to crash. What impressed me most were the story elements, graphics, and themes—far surpassing my expectations, especially the first rescue scene and the corporate dystopian settings, human farms, and more. Typically, I wait a year before purchasing Bethesda titles, but CP77 performed better at launch than many modded Bethesda releases after that time. Compared to Fallout 76 now, CP77 was superior. I avoided social media initially to prevent being spoiled until the prologue was complete, and I was taken aback by the harsh criticism. Then I discovered CDPR, which is completely unplayable on XBOX and PS4. That was exactly what it deserved. The bug fixes in CP77 only addressed a few issues, mostly removing obvious glitches like the tarot textures that appeared when certain characters used them. If you enjoy open-world experiences with deep storytelling and cyberpunk aesthetics—think Ghost In The Shell—I’ll likely be happy with this game. Just ensure your system can handle its demands. The visuals are truly stunning.
