It wasn't a major issue, but the Windows 10 patch 15.7.1 included some fixes for Battlefield 4. I checked if there was any difference in FPS between the drivers, and it actually improved my average by 15 fps. On 15.7.0 I was averaging 73 fps with ultra settings on my R9 280x. After updating to 15.7.1, I reached 87 fps on average. The same results using different settings.

But FX chips struggle with current games—60 frames per second isn't possible! -A frustrated commenter who might have begun something. Excuse you, I'm just an ordinary person. A solid 100$ processor would make a big difference. It's impressive how much progress drivers are making.

Hey there... I go with DX11 since I record with DxTorry. Fine, no extra frame boosts for me.

I haven't used dx11 before, so improvements could still happen.

The 15 FPS might be misleading; it's possible AMD adjusted the graphics settings.

AMD could modify game functionality by adjusting drivers without releasing the game itself.
