Hello, I began a fresh build using an x470 board. I borrowed a friend's 2200g to install the essentials and then uploaded the latest BIOS onto the motherboard. It completed the full update process and launched straight into Windows without any problems. Assuming everything was correct, I removed the 2200g and installed the 3700x. The GPU fan increased and never dropped. No display or error messages appeared. I've tested various RAM configurations. When I reinserted the 2200g, it still didn't boot properly with the same issues I encountered earlier: trying different slots, using the built-in GPU on the 2200g, resetting the BIOS with a jumper, leaving each CPU active longer, and using the BIOS recovery tool on the ASUS board (with both new and default BIOS, plus CD). Even when using just the CPU without RAM, I still didn't hear any beeps. My GPU is Trident Z Neo 3600 and my RAM is 3600c16. The game is Minecraft. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated—I've been stuck for hours and would love to play now.

The board seems to have missed updating its BIOS, and after reviewing our options, returning it is perfectly justified.

Really, I wish I could have finished it today. Would using the same motherboard be okay? I enjoyed the interface, functions, and look it had back then, and I’d like to retain it if feasible.

It seems you're concerned about potential issues with the update process and the dual BIOS functionality.
