I've been dealing with this problem for a few months now. Initially, I believed one of my HDDs was vibrating against part of my case, but later I thought it might be the CPU cooler. The noise disappears when I either: - move or press down on the whole PC case - shake the middle fan of the CPU cooler (video) after it stops, it vanishes for a few minutes (shaking briefly makes it just a couple of minutes, while pressing longer causes it to return slowly).

Things I've tried:
- Reinstalling fans and cooler – not sure if it helps, but here are the specs: CPU: 5800X3D, GPU: 7800XT, RAM: 64GB DDR4, motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-A, cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120.

The noise is quite faint and difficult to identify clearly. It doesn’t resemble a faulty bearing, so replacing the fan isn’t necessary. It seems like there might be a slight contact with the fan blades or a minor vibration from an unbalanced rotor. You can likely pinpoint the issue by placing a hollow tube between your ear and the sound source—it functions like a stethoscope. Does the noise cease when you disconnect that middle fan? Probably not, as another fan will keep it running and the cooler’s thermal capacity will help prevent overheating for some time.
