Hello, everyone. I'm experiencing a strange issue in GTA 5 vanilla left version 2015.0821.229.38003. Everything is set to maximum, with long shadows and detailed fly streaming enabled in the advanced settings, FXAA active, MSAA at level 4, and Vsync turned off. I'm running at 1080p. I changed the shadow settings from AMD to the "Softest" option, but it's still problematic. My R9 280 is brand new, so I'm not sure if it's the hardware. The CPU is AMD FX6300, motherboard Gigabyte 780-ML, 8GB RAM, Hyperx beast GPU at 1600, R9 280 Direct CU II case, USB 3.0 SSD from Seagate, and a PSU from EVGA. The display is BenQ 24K. It's running smoothly overall, but I need more info.

I experienced the same problem too, but it disappeared after I installed the latest driver update.

Look for alternatives that don’t require enabling MSAA. Consider testing the Beta versions.

When post fx exceeds the high setting and msaa is enabled simultaneously, adjust post fx to high and enjoy the experience.

Is there much difference in against Very High? Because, Damm! playing without MSAA is as annoying as it gets.
