Unusual technology and screen problems
I’ve been using this PC for about six to seven months now. Occasionally the display ports on a NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 card would shut down completely. Power comes through a six-pin connection, and the PSU is a 600W FX Pro. I was streaming EFT when the ports stopped working. I unplugged them, tried using the GPU directly, and even connected via my motherboard—nothing worked. A new monitor didn’t help either. The PC still powers on, but the fans are running and both the CPU and GPU are active, showing it has power. Any suggestions on what to do?
The issue arises because the graphics card drivers aren't loading, likely due to a failing display.
It seems like you're asking about potential issues with your hardware setup. Let me clarify the common concerns: Ports may be missing or non-functional, and connecting a monitor to an integrated GPU isn't typically possible unless you have a dedicated graphics card.
I'm not dismissing it right away. Consider changing the cable, re-seating the CPU and RAM, and clearing the CMOS battery. Check if your motherboard shows any error lights.
