Unusual Steam Performance
Unusual Steam Performance
Not on Windows is why this feels really confusing. It's the first time it's happened to me. I changed to Nobara, but checking didn't help since there was nothing to verify. All files disappeared somehow. I might reinstall later, but I just want to avoid it again.
It seems like the problem is mostly about a poorly tested operating system, though it appears to be a recurring issue with Steam. Running Windows 10 usually resolves it quickly.
The person who claimed it was Steam's responsibility was the one who pointed out the unusual behavior and asked for the reason to avoid similar issues later.
