Unusual startup delays in Windows 10
You experienced solid performance with a 500GB Mushkin ECO2 using W10 UEFI, but after migrating your W10 files to an HP EX900 NVMe drive and reorganizing them, boot time increased significantly. It now takes over two minutes even after clearing the old Windows folder. Assistance would be welcome.
Could be using a different setup or outdated software. The safest option is to reinstall everything from scratch on the NVMe storage.
I currently don’t have access to large files that can’t be retrieved or backed up. This isn’t a problem I’m facing right now, though I intend to handle it later. The system update itself hasn’t changed, which is why the NVMe performance seems significantly affected.
I made the changes to my BIOS and the issue was resolved completely.
