Unusual startup actions are occurring.
I repeatedly attempt to power on my PC after connecting it to the wall outlet. It lights up briefly before shutting off and then restarts shortly afterward. When I power it off and turn it back on without unplugging, it boots normally. This issue only occurs during the first boot after plugging in. It’s been happening for some time now, and today is the only day I can address it because of my busy schedule. I suspect the problem isn’t a dead CMOS battery since the system time and date remain accurate. My machine has the specs: i5-6400, Asus H110M-D GTX 1060, 4GB RAM, 2x 500GB SSD, 2x 1TB HDD, Seasonic 520w M.2. I’ve tried several fixes: clearing CMOS, updating BIOS, swapping RAM positions, re-seating the motherboard and CPU, and reseating the GPU. I’m considering a new PC due to its age but lack the budget. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
It seems related to the motherboard BIOS configuration. Could be a parameter affecting performance.
