According to @Ryker Robb, monitor the thermals during this phase. Even if it seems inactive, you may need to refresh it manually to check for throttling. If there’s no issue, it suggests the main NAND flash could be experiencing delays from defects. Looking at the CDI screenshot supports this conclusion—no errors were observed.
For thermals, I reinserted it yesterday to test without the MB heatsink. I then reinstalled it. The data shows the following temperatures: Results (first run), Second run: That's interesting... EDIT : I noticed there are two M.2 slots on my board. I attempted to place my drive in the other slot (at the back of the board). It runs a bit hotter, but I haven’t observed any problems yet... Would this suggest the first slot is the issue?
