Start with GT 1030 and consider purchasing a used 1060 model; the 1030 isn’t worth the investment. The noise is unusual—mostly noticeable when bleeding my watercooling loop. You don’t seem to need a USB DVD drive or anything similar.

It seems like the issue might be related to the power supply unit fan. Since you don’t have an HDD listed, there are likely no moving parts beyond that. The only other potential source is the PSU fan. You’re probably thinking coil whine, though it’s unlikely from just a 1030 card. I’m not entirely sure if a 1030 would cause this, but it’s definitely worth checking.

I lack a traditional hard drive, just the specifications and memory I remember. Coilwhine is a term I wasn't familiar with—it refers to a second sound I encountered that caused issues but wasn't discussed before. The GT 1030 appears to have this issue too. For my concern, the problem seems linked to my power supply unit, not the blades themselves. Additionally, the noise only appears after a while, not right away when opening windows. My PSU has a zero RPM mode, so it's not spinning directly. The fanless version of the Corsair PSU worries me because I hadn't noticed any fan activity. During a Cinebench test, the fan didn't spin at all, which is unusual. The sound disappears when running Cinebench, which helps clarify things. I'm sorry for the confusing thoughts in my post—I'm still trying to figure this out.

I received an update on the matter and found it more intriguing. I hadn't heard anything like this before. The unusual noise disappeared completely during Cinebench, which is a CPU-intensive test. I then ran furMark, a GPU-heavy test, and the sound was still present but much quieter. Based on that, I think the noise occurs when the PC is running with minimal workload. Has anyone else experienced or known about this?

They don’t fit together. Could you clarify what you’re referring to? It seems like a fan issue, maybe related to the PSU with a zero RPM setting, and the noise appears after booting the operating system. Let me know if that’s the case.

I'm sorry i'll try to rephrase it, i don't talk very well in English. 1 : When i use cinebench (who use the CPU) the weird noise i hear disapear completely, it's strange, i know, but i've tested it multiple time it's absolutely true. The more workload, the less noise. 2. The noise doesn't start with the boot of the OS. It start maybe 2-3 minutes after, when windows is running and i'm in my session. I have the time to open chrome, some tab and the sound will appear in 2-3min after i pushed the button to start the pc. 3. On my PSU, the corsair SF450, there is only 1 fan and it's not the cause of the problem. In fact, the zero RPM prove it because i can see the fan not spinning while i hear the noise. It's not obstructed either. Thank you for taking the time to respond and thinking about my issue

Sure, let me think. Do you need help with something specific?
