Hello, the problem involves occasional freezing when no game is running or when an intense task is active. Freezing times vary widely—ranging from a few hours to over two hours—and it seems unpredictable. I've tested running with minimal applications and entered safe mode, but the issue persists without a clear solution. When a YouTube video plays, it continues normally, yet I can't interact with the page afterward. Pressing restart or shutdown doesn't resolve it; only pressing the case button for over six seconds helps. The reset button on the case works temporarily. Task manager freezes and displays precise freeze durations. Changing the "pages" setting doesn't fix the problem. Forcing a program to close leaves the right-click menu lingering. My system specs include an Asus B450-F Strix Gaming 4901 BIOS, latest Ryzen 5x5600X processor, no overclocking, RTX 3060 Ti, 32GB 32G RAM, 850W PSU, Windows 10 home 64-bit.

It seems there might be a driver, hard drive, or Windows problem. Try using HDTune to assess the drive's health by searching your manufacturer and downloading the appropriate chipset drivers. Update your BIOS and run the command `cmdprompt` followed by `sfc /scannow` to check for Windows issues. If problems persist, consider reinstalling Windows or using a safe boot menu to reset it, or use an ISO image as a backup.

Thanks for that attempt! Windows Resource Protection detected corrupt files and managed to fix them. Online fixes are documented in the CBS log file at windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log (e.g., C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log). For offline repairs, the log provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag contains the necessary details. I have the most recent BIOS and chipset information. Using HDtune, I checked all my HDDs and SSDs—everything looks good. It seems the scan automatically resolved the issue. I’ll share updates when something changes or if there’s an issue in a few days. xD CBS.log

That's great to hear. I'm familiar with Windows problems too, so it should help you out. 😊
