You received a message warning about unusual sign-in activity for your Microsoft account. Initially, you doubted it was spam, but the sender used Microsoft’s account protection email. After reviewing your past interactions, you realized the emails came from this address over ten years, covering alerts and password changes—so it’s genuine. The concern lies with the account itself, which you’ve never encountered before and isn’t associated with your own identity. You’re unsure why you’re being contacted and what this account represents.

Thanks for raising this; it appears to be a growing concern for many users: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outl...0d100af543. I hope it gets addressed on media soon so Microsoft can resolve it.

Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you're not alone in this. It's good to know others are experiencing the same issues. I've noticed my email has been compromised a few times before, but it seems to be from Microsoft. It's reassuring to hear that others are reporting it too. We should keep raising our voices to encourage a response from Microsoft.
