I recently acquired a second-hand power supply, processor, motherboard module, and RAM package. It operates smoothly with minimal stability problems during stress tests. Yet, I frequently encounter crashes when launching a single game (as if resetting the front panel). Occasionally it freezes during main menu or after extended gaming sessions. I suspect a faulty PSU rather than the hardware itself, since CPU usage stays between 20-40% even under load. In games, I maintain around 60-70% utilization with no interruptions. Stress tests show only one failure in MSI Kombustor (preset MSI-01 would be ideal) and no crashes during FurMark. Other benchmarks reveal consistent issues—mainly in Unigine Heaven on DX11/DX9, and sporadic crashes in OpenGL mode. In War Thunder at full settings, it crashes regularly, but only briefly when using lower settings. Hired Ops sees frequent crashes, while Enlisted and COD Warzone experience them mostly after long play sessions. I've disabled automatic restarts on failure, adjusted GPU power limits, and lowered CPU limits—changes had little to no impact, possibly just placebo effects. Using a fresh Windows 11 installation didn’t resolve the problem. All connectors appear properly connected. Please share all relevant details. Specs: CPU – Intel i7 4790K, GPU – AORUS RX570 4GB RAM – 16GB DDR3 (4x4GB), MOBO – ASRock Z97 Pro4, PSU – Corsair VS550, OS – Windows 10 (also tried Win11). Note: Played COD Warzone for ~3 hours without issues; DX12 games seem more affected. Possible direct-X bug.
