Hey there! Let me see if I can help clarify what you're experiencing with your PC. It sounds like you're facing a display issue that appears briefly after booting up or waking from sleep mode, lasting about 5 to 8 minutes. You've already done some troubleshooting—swapped the graphics card, re-seated RAM, cleaned everything thoroughly, and reinstalled the drivers. You're now considering new DP cables, which should arrive soon. Stress tests on CPU and RAM show no problems, and you've confirmed monitors work fine on other devices using HDMI. Any suggestions or insights would be really helpful. Thanks! Donny

It seems the issue is likely with the screen itself. Have you tested connecting your PC to another monitor or TV to rule out the display as the cause?

Hi, thanks for the update. I've tested both monitors on a console and a laptop, and the odd distortion disappears—just powers up normally. I'm planning to try it out by connecting the PC to the TV upstairs; that's a new idea but worth a shot! Thanks again!

Keep an eye on the side; the DP input might be unstable. Consider linking your PC through HDMI rather than DP.
