Your parents seem to enforce a strict internet filter outside of certain known networks. Have you talked to them about this? It could be they’ve set it up incorrectly, especially if they don’t restrict access on home networks.

I don’t understand much. They told me the basics, but they’re not familiar with the specific terms. It might relate to connecting to a school network, though I’m not sure. I think it could be about that connection I had when I first got the phone two summers ago—it didn’t happen then, but it did when I returned to school.
