I’ve been assembling my first computer, but during pre-build testing the monitor didn’t detect the GPU. I double-checked the connection and made sure it was properly plugged in; still nothing. It doesn’t appear to be a power supply problem either—all fans are running normally. When I power it on, the monitor seems to activate but still fails to recognize the HDMI port. I’m feeling confused and discouraged, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Previously, I needed to reposition the pin link connecting the GPU to the power supply, provided the HDMI/monitor was set up properly.

It seems like the connection isn't working well. Could you check for a different HDMI cable? Perhaps a new graphics card or another computer might help. You could also try using the other slot on the graphics card.
