You're experiencing odd behavior with your main display after powering on the PC. The screen flashes white, then red briefly, while the second monitor displays normal BIOS info. Once you reach the login screen, the main screen flickers for a few seconds before settling. No GPU issues were noted, and both monitors are functioning correctly otherwise. This could be related to power management settings, display calibration, or a temporary software glitch. Checking for driver updates or testing with another power source might help.

It seems the monitor is initiating its self-test routine.

Absolutely, I wouldn't be concerned that way. It's probably just a small issue.

It didn't occur when I first received the monitor; the problem began only recently. For several weeks it would start up normally, which is unusual.

When I disable fast boot in BIOS, the Windows screen remains stuck in the self-test mode, continuously loops through colors without progressing to the actual login.

It can occur with another device such as a different computer, laptop, or gaming console.

I regretfully can't test my monitor elsewhere because I don't have another device to link it to. However, I'm a bit uncertain—it might be the monitor's issue rather than the GPU itself.

Consider performing a complete GPU driver reset, though it seems the monitor or connection might be the issue since the second screen functions properly. The problem could lie with the physical port on the GPU itself.

I wouldn't say my second screen is functioning properly. I purchased the updated model (which includes diagnostic features) because my first screen began displaying artifacts at the bottom—small, persistent lines that don’t disappear regardless of using a DP cable or HDMI. It seems the original display is failing. Now that the new one is showing issues, it feels like a coincidence. After reinstalling the GPU drivers, the problem persisted.

Consider returning your GPU through RMA for a replacement.
